At giffgaff we want to challenge the old way of doing things. People, and the way they work, define our culture and we encourage everyone to bring their whole selves to the gaff. That's why we believe in creating an equitable, fairer, more inclusive business that champions different ideas and perspectives.

We may be sort-of-small but we're big on that caring, sharing thing and strive to create a culture of belonging.

We extend our commitment to create an inclusive environment to our members, striving to create a safe space where diversity is not just recognised but celebrated. Our team does a fantastic job at engaging with our community on topics that are personal to them. We also listen to their unique perspectives and consider their various vulnerabilities to ensure that their experience with us makes them feel like giffgaff is a place where everyone feels heard, understood, and included.

Diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) aren't bolted on at giffgaff, they're built in. Across giffgaff, we know that DE&I is a fundamental part of us being Up To Good. It's also critical for everyone at giffgaff to lean in, so we can make giffgaff the best gig of their careers. Without inclusion, without diversity of thought, inputs and viewpoints, we won't be able to use our scale for good and challenge our industry to do better.

giffgaff created its LGBTQ+ network, Proudly@giffgaff, in 2022. Our aim is to build a safe space at the gaff, and create a community of empowered and educated LGBTQ+ people and allies, to drive equity and inclusion. I’m really proud that giffgaff sponsored and raised money for a local LGBTQ+ organisation who recently needed our support after a warehouse fire.

Creating an equitable workplace where we recognise and celebrate our cultural heritage is incredibly important to me. As a member of the enrich network we have the opportunity to learn from one another, discuss difficult issues plus influence action for meaningful change.
Ultraviolet Network

I’m passionate about improving the disabled experience for giffgaffers. We’re launching the Ultraviolet network in 2024, which champions inclusion of people with disability at giffgaff and allows giffgaffers to speak up. We have started to make change at giffgaff, through our work on the Disability Confident Scheme, looking at new ways to be more inclusive and truly welcome all disabled people to the gaff.
Empowering Together Network
Empowering Together Network
Our focus is to discuss women's experiences and help build a truly equal workplace. We invite women from giffgaff and other companies to share their challenges, experiences and achievements in an open and honest forum. Our network is named “Together” as it’s open to everyone, regardless of gender. It’s rewarding to see how many giffgaffers feel inspired and supported by this network and value learning from others’ experiences.

Your wellbeing matters to us, whatever your family looks like.

You’ll get up to 26 weeks paid maternity or adoption leave; and our paternity leave is an incredible 14 weeks too, and there’s up to 12 weeks neonatal leave, giving you precious time with your little one. And we’ll help you navigate with paid time off for caring, bereavement, emergencies and more.
